FMGlive Premier League
(20 votes)

In 2009 the face of football has got a dramatic makeover as the world's leading associations, growing frustrated with the ever growing power of the leading European clubs, formed together to create the
FMGlive Premier League.

The time has come for a change, a fresh start, a time to take back the power from the clubs and that is what the associations have done. Backed by a number of wealthy investers, including leading Gaming Company's Sega and Sports Interactive along with sponsors FMGlive, the assocations has bought up some of the most talented stars from around the world to bring FPL to the top of the footballing world.

Still at an early stage, the assocations are looking at a series of franchises from around the world to compete in the league and decisions will be made as soon as possible as the upcoming draft is obviously dependent upon these decisions.

If you are interested in having your franchise in the league, create your thread with all your teams information

HERE

Each city from around the world is allocated only one spot so be sure to open your thread as soon as possible, even if your info follows later and one team per member!

Once we have all our clubs in place a draft will then take place for each club to be assigned there players.

GFX packs will also be made as a complete pack is the target here, depending on interest obviously, with the database realeased with them!

FMG Saved Game Challenge - Lyon
(9 votes)
Written by Derek

The target for this challenge is to come back from a huge setback at home to arch-rivals and first placed St.Ettiene and claim the Ligue 1 title despite having star striker Benzema suspeneded and Toulalan sold to Real Madrid in the summer. Some notable signings in Fernando Gago and Goran Pandev have bolstered the Lyon squad but Grosso and Govou are also injured.

The Champions League is also still up for grabs for Lyon as they battle to come from 2-0 down following defeat at El Madrigal against Villarreal which saw Cris pick up a suspension also.

In the French Cup an away day waits as Lyon travel to Lens for what is sure to be a tough test.

Something to look forward to for our new manager is the final of the Coupe de la Ligue as Lyon will go head to head with Bordeaux for the honours.

FMG Build A Squad Challenge - AC Milan
(13 votes)
Written by Derek
Wednesday, 22 April 2009

The objective of this challenge is to rebuild the aging AC Milan squad and transform it into a young vibrant first team. In doing this you will need to have an average age of 23 years old for your first team squad while also having to provide two players for each position. The minimum amount of first team squad members must be 22 players and all transfer funds must be spent by the end of the summer transfer window (within £0-£1m). With this being the first challenge I have been very generous with your spending power as you can pull from Milan's huge resources with £100m available to spend. However, you might just be able to get some extra funds from the chairman if you ask the board nicely but remember you need to spend it all!! Note that all players bought must be in your first team squad!

Points System

Squad Average Age & 22 players - 50 points
Squad Average Age & Budget Spent - 50 points
Budget Spent & 22 players - 30 points
Squad Average Age & 22 players & Budget Spent - 150 points
Best Squad (Member Vote) - 100 bonus points
